My name is Stefan Haefliger, I live in London and work as a researcher at Cass Business School, City University London, teaching strategy and innovation courses, such as one on creativity and design. My research focuses on organization theory and lately on the impact of non-material artifacts, such as software, on organizational practices. We study online communities and the way in which individuals interact across and within community boundaries as well as the sources of regulation and the way large organizations develop practices with and around information technology. My experience and curiosity for contact improvisation comes from yoga when it helps to relate from a deeper point within ourselves and from an affiliation with a community of practitioners who form the Academy of Inner Science (http://www.innerscience.info/en).
